Photo Trouvée Magazine is excited to host an international open call for Issue 21 with the theme "Garden of Nostalgia."

We are looking for artists who work with or are inspired by vintage, found, or family photographs, in any medium and at any stage of their careers. You may submit previously created and/or published works, or create something specifically for this issue.

The theme for this issue is "Garden of Nostalgia." Artists are invited to submit work featuring, but not limited to, florals, plants, connections to nature, or reflections on roots, whether literal or metaphorical. You are free to interpret this theme in any way you wish.

The open call is open to artists worldwide. There is no submission fee. However, selected artists will be required to pay a $40 publication fee to be featured in the magazine. Please submit your work only if you agree to pay this fee if selected. If accepted, the publication fee will be due during the last week of October 2026. Full payment instructions will be included in the acceptance email.

The publication fee helps cover printing and publishing costs, magazine design, website and social media maintenance, and supports a scholarship fund for programs and opportunities within the Photo Trouvée community.

Submission Format

Please submit 4–6 images in the following format:

High-resolution JPEG
300 DPI
Filename: ARTISTNAME_TITLE

Please note that submissions that do not follow this file naming format will not be considered.

Also, any text submitted with your application cannot be edited after submission, so we strongly recommend proofreading all materials before applying. If selected, your artist statement and accompanying text will be published exactly as submitted.
